I have been looking at shrines and alters on my travels throughout Asia. I am attracted by their beauty, the energy and aromas. In this series of studies I have been experimenting with a red clay body moving away from the buff body I currently use. In looking back at my earlier work I am going back to adding more three dimensional elements and shelves or platforms for things to rest upon. Look for my new work to become more and more dimensional in nature. |
